Addressing a press conference here Thursday evening, the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief said: “Somehow or the other, it is the NDA that helped save the government, which was sure to fall.”

Mayawati said the Congress-led UPA had made a mockery of parliamentary democracy in the way it “engineered” defections to win the trust vote on the issue of the India-US nuclear deal.
