Colombo : Centuries from skipper Mahela Jayawardene, Malinda Warnapura and Thilan Samaraweera helped Sri Lanka pile 422 for the loss of four wickets against India at the close of second day’s play in the first Test at the Sinhalese Sports Club ground here Thursday.
Jayawardene scored 136 while Warnapura made 115 and together they forged a 155-run partnership for the third wicket. At stumps, Samaraweera was batting on 111 and Tillakaratne Dilshan on 20.
