The book will be officially launched by Justice A M Ahmadi, former Chief Justice of India, on 2nd August at India Islamic Cultural Centre in New Delhi. The book launch programme will feature JIH President Maulana Jalaluddin Umari and A R Antuley, Union Minister of Minority Affairs.

Though JIH has been active in social work since its inception, its work in the field came to light in 1964 when it worked for Jabalpur riot victims without any discrimination of caste or creed. In the last 40 years JIH has provided financial assistance to 40 lac people and has spent about Rs 33 crore on that front.

The present book has been published in the context of its mega social welfare project called Vision 2015 which is a multi-sectoral multibillion dollar programme. The book is aimed at providing its own workers and other related NGOs with professional information and skill to work in the social welfare field.

Some topics discussed in the book are as follows: Formation of an NGO, Management of an NGO, General Norms of Government Schemes and Exclusive Schemes for Minorities.
