Pakistan strongly condemns terrorist attacks in Istanbul

Islamabad : Pakistan Tuesday strongly condemned the terrorist attacks in Istanbul on 27 July 2008 that claimed 17 lives including 5 children and wounded more than 153 others.

“Such wanton terror directed against innocent civilians is a crime against humanity,” the Foreign Ministry spokesman aid.

“The Government and the people of Pakistan share the grief of our Turkish brothers over this sad incident,” he said in a statement.

He said such cowardly acts only strengthen our resolve to eliminate the scourge of terrorism in all its forms and
manifestations.

“We extend our deep condolences to the people and the Government of Turkey on the tragic loss of human life and pray for speedy recovery of the wounded”.
