Kathmandu : Former Nepali king Gyanendra is likely to leave the palace by issuing a public notice, local newspaper The Kathmandu Post reported on Monday.
The report quoted sources at Narayanhiti Palace, as saying that the sources refused to say when Gyanendra was planning to leave the palace for good.
“Seems he has not made up his mind about the day. If he had done so, we would have known,” said a senior palace official who asked not to be named on Sunday.
It is also learned that some cabinet members have established communication link with ousted Gyanendra Shah regarding his security, after he became a civilian, as May 28 Constituent Assembly (CA) declared.
The CA declared the country a Federal Democratic Republic and directed Nepali government to require the former king to vacate the Narayanhity royal palace within 15 days.
