Muscat : Malaysian Education Minister Hishammuddin Hussein has departed here with his accompanying delegation winding up a three-day official visit to the sultanate.
During his visit, the Malaysian minister met with a number of senior officials in the sultanate.
He also signed for his country a memorandum of understanding between the Education Ministry in the sultanate and the Malaysian Education Ministry in the education field.
The Malaysian Education Minister was seen off with his delegation by Yahya bin Saud Al-Sulaimi, Education Minister, and officials of the ministry.
The visit of the Malaysian minister to the sultanate came within the context of existing cooperation between the sultanate and Malaysia in various fields including the education field with the aim to benefit from the expertise of both countries to contribute in promoting the level of performance in various fields.
