Aligarh : The Aligarh Muslim University community will establish an International Alumni Foundation with a corpus fund of 100 crores. The aim of the foundation would be to channelize its resources for the growth and expansion of the Alma mater said Professor P K Abdul Azis, Vice Chancellor.
In the first meeting of the Organizing Committee held to discuss the proposed World Summit of AMU Alumni slated for October 18-19, 2008, he said that the Summit will provide an occasion for a memorable reunion of AMU Alumni spread all over the world.
The Summit will facilitate in establishing a permanent Alumni Foundation as a perpetual facility for the old boys and old girls to keep linked with their alma mater.
