The US air force launched missiles against the Bajaur Pakistani region last May, killing 13 and wounding scores of others.

In his Thursday speech before the National Assembly, Qureshi informed that a strong protest had been launched at every level, including the United States and NATO, according to the Pakistani Associated Press (APP).

The official claimed that even Pakistani Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Guillani took up the issue with US President Bush during his meeting at Sharm el-Sheikh (Egypt) last month.

Qureshi said he would visit Afghanistan shortly and discuss with Afghan leaders efforts to bring peace in the region.
