Hong Kong : An earthquake measuring 6.0 on the Richter scale hit the Banda Sea at 1349 GMT Friday, according to a bulletin released by the Hong Kong Observatory.
The epicenter was initially determined to be 7.4 degrees south latitude and 127.9 degrees east longitude, about 410 km south of Ambon, Indonesia.
There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage.
