Lahore : Former Chief Minister Punjab and President PML-N Shahbaz Sharif Friday took oath as member of Punjab Assembly.
Speaker Punjab Assembly Rana Muhammad Iqbal administered the oath to the Assembly.
Earlier when Shahbaz Sharif entered the assembly Hall, Muslim League members chanted slogans “Sher Aya Sher Aya”.
When Sharif took the oath as Members of Provincial Assembly and members of Muslim League shouted “Welcome Sharif and Go Musharraf Go.” PML Nawaz and PPPP have nominated Shahaz Sharif as Chief Minister of Punjab in a joint meetingon Thursday.
Talking to the media outside the Assembly Hall Shahbaz said that performance of the government is not quite well for two months.
“But the government will give relief to the people in Budget.” Answering a question Shahbaz said that relationship with presidency would be maintained within the constitutional framework.
“The top priority is restoration of judiciary and no PCO judges have been acceptable,” he added.
