Abu Dhabi : Zayed Foundation for Charitable and Humanitarian Works (ZFCHW) is planning to further its activities in the Union of the Comoros.
Director General of ZFCHW Salem Obeid Al Dhahiri and the Minister of Finance, Economy and Trade of Comoros Dr. Yusuf Saeed Saleh discussed today ways for boosting cooperation between the two sides in the fields of humanitarian and developmental projects. The ZFCHW is implementing a number of charity and humanitarian projects in the island nation located in the eastern coast of Africa.
The minister, who is heading a delegation from Comoros, expressed the gratitude of his country to the government and people of UAE for their support to various developmental projects in his country.
He said that the maternity and paediatric hospital funded by ZFCHW is a milestone in the healthcare sector in Comoros. The hospital, built as per global standards, is all set to open its doors to the people of Comoros. The minister said the aim of the visit by the delegation to UAE is to express gratitude to UAE for helping his country to have such a remarkable medical and healthcare facility.
