New Delhi: A daylong seminar on “Emergence of Ethical Investment: Issues and Practices” will be held at India Islamic Cultural Centre in New Delhi on 14th June.
The programme is being jointly organized by Institute of Objective Studies and Indo-Arab Economic Co-operation Forum (New Delhi). The programme will begin at 10:00 am. The live webcast of the entire seminar can be watched at the IOS website http://www.iosworld.org.
The seminar will be inaugurated by D.R. Mehta, former chairman of SEBI and Deputy Chairman of RBI. The programme will be presided over by K. Rahman Khan, Deputy Chairman of Rajya Sabha. Prof. M. Nejatullah Siddiqui, former professor of economics at King Abdul Aziz University, Jeddah, KSA, will deliver keynote address. Those who will present papers include Dr. Ausaf Ahmad, former head, Special Assignments, IDB, Jeddah and presently editor of Mutaaleat (New Delhi). The topics include “Emergence of Ethical Investment” and “Issues of Ethical Indices: Measurement and Methodology.”
