Lucknow : A youngster was arrested Thursday and about one kilogram of heroin worth Rs.10 million was seized from him in Uttar Pardesh’s Gonda district, police said.
“Surya Kumar Gaur was arrested on the Faizabad road,” Gonda Superintendent of Police Lalji Shukla told IANS.
He said Gaur, from Basti district, had came to Gonda, about 100 km from here, to supply heroin to Deepak Shukla.
Suspecting a drug racket operating in the district, Gaur was being interrogated for further leads in the case, police added.
