New Delhi : Kashmir is a bilateral issue between India and Pakistan, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad said here Thursday during his five-day state visit to India.
Syria, which is now chairing the Arab League, “has always had reservations on anti-Indian resolutions (over the Kashmir issue) at the OIC (Organisation of Islamic Counctries)”, the president told reporters.
“We support direct negotiations between India and Pakistan on Kashmir,” he added.
