Vienna : The Euro 2008 semi-final matches in Vienna and Basle will go under the motto “United Against Racism,” the ruling body Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) announced Saturday at a press conference in Vienna.

The four participating team captains will read out a message calling for the peaceful coexistence of cultures as well as wearing anti-racism armbands.

There will also be fan choreography in Vienna’s Ernst Happel stadium and in St Jakob-Park in Basle, highlighting the fight against racism.

UEFA has donated 500,000 Swiss francs ($482,000) in support of the campaign.
