BJP wants n-deal renegotiated: Sinha

Speaking on the sidelines of a meeting of party workers, Sinha clarified that the BJP only wanted the terms of the nuclear deal re-negotiated.

“We have made it amply clear that the nuclear deal cannot be accepted by us in its present form and we will renegotiate its terms when we come to power,” Sinha said.

He reiterated his party’s stand that the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance (UPA) the Left parties that support it from outside were using the nuclear debate to divert the attention of the masses from other pressing issues like inflation.

Clubbing the BJP stand on the issue with that of the Left was fallacious, Sinha added.
