The National Veterinary Research and Quarantine Service (NVRQS) said it has checked and cleared six separate shipments of frozen U.S. beef totaling 85.6 tons, and is in the process of examining another shipment, Yonhap reported.

“Quarantine certificates have been issued for six shipments from two inspection centers in Yongin and Incheon that permit local meat importers to pay the necessary import duties,” Yonhap quoted a government official as saying.
