Riyadh : Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al-Faisal has said that his country was looking forward to the upcoming Arab Summit to be held in Damascus.
Addressing the Saudi Shura Council Sunday, Prince Faisal indicated that the upcoming meeting for the Arab League’s council would focus on items to be discussed in the Arab Summit, to be held end of March.
“Saudi Arabia is always keen on stabilization in the Arab world,” affirmed Prince Faisal, hoping that the summit would help solve some of the problems in the region.
He said that Saudi Arabia intends to utilize its foreign relations with world leading countries such as the US for the benefit of Arabs.
Saudi Arabia was very concerned over what is occurring in the Arab scene especially in the Palestinian territories, stated Prince Faisal, adding that all efforts would be used to end the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.
The stability in Lebanon, Iraq, and other regions in the Arab world were among priorities for Saudi Arabia’s foreign policy, the Saudi minister added.
