Dhaka : Bangladesh has reiterated its “one China” policy, assuring Beijing that it would reject any overtures from Taiwan.
Foreign Adviser Iftekhar Ahmed Chowdhury told China’s ambassador Zheng Qingdian Sunday that Dhaka’s policy would remain unchanged.
“Relations with China are at the heart of Bangladeshi’s foreign policy. There shall be no change in this now, and I do not believe there can be any change in this in the future,” Chowdhury said.
