The junior team which won the World Cup beating South Africa by 12 runs in Kuala Lumpur Sunday, will arrive at 4.00 pm Tuesday and the president of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), Sharad Pawar, and other officials will be present at the airport to welcome them.

The team will then travel in an open bus to the Chinnaswamy Stadium where the BCCI president will felicitate them. The reception is being organised by the Karnataka State Cricket Association on behalf of the BCCI.

Pawar will also honour the team at a function at Chennai March 25 along with Anil Kumble.

The team led by Virat Kohli erased the memories of India losing the final against Pakistan in the last edition in Colombo.
