New Delhi : Two people were killed and one sustained critical injuries when a speeding vehicle hit their motorbike in south Delhi late Monday, police said.
The accident occurred at around 11:30 p.m. when an unknown vehicle, reported to be a truck, hit the trio – identified as Harish, Sonu and Hari – near Moolchand Flyover in Defence Colony area. Police said the victims were admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), where doctors declared Harish and Sonu brought dead, while Hari’s condition was stated to be critical.
“A case of rash and negligent driving has been registered and investigations are on to trace the vehicle and its driver,” a police official said.
