Brisbane : India scored a nine-run win in a thriller that went to the wire to clinch the Commonwealth Bank Trophy title with a 2-0 verdict at the Gabba on Tuesday.
Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the toss and elected to bat and India scored 258 for nine in their allotted 50 overs. The Australians in reply were dismissed for 249 in 49.4 overs, leaving India victorious by nine runs with two deliveries to spare.
