Lahore is scheduled to host one of the three Tests in a series slated to start later this month.

According to The Daily Telegraph, there have been more than 50 bomb blasts in Pakistan over the past year and though a final decision is yet to be made it appears increasingly unlikely the tour will go ahead.

The Australian Cricketers Association (ACA) has banned their chief executive Paul Marsh from going to Pakistan for the traditional pre-tour inspection.

It has been speculated that several leading Australian players will boycott the tour if it is approved by Cricket Australia, the newspaper said

A delegation of player’s representatives and Cricket Australia (CA) officials were set to meet with Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) officials in Canberra Wednesday to discuss the matter.
