New Delhi : Former Indian president A.P.J. Abdul Kalam visited Israel for two days last month during which he met President Shimon Peres and addressed a meeting on aerospace sciences, the Israeli embassy said Wednesday.
Kalam reached Israel Feb 27 where he gave the keynote speech at “Israel Annual Conference on Aerospace Sciences” organised by the Technion University, the embassy said in a statement.
He and Peres exchanged views on enhancing cooperation and knowledge sharing in the fields of agriculture, environment, IT, nanotechnology, medicine and solar energy.
