In Terengganu, the state Umno liaison body expressed solid support for Abdullah.
“The people gave the mandate to the BN (Barisan Nasional) in the general election on Saturday and this is a sign of the people’s support for his leadership as the BN chairman,” Terengganu state Menteri Besar (Chief Minister) Idris Jusoh said in a text message sent to the media through his press secretary, Sajulia Ahmad.
