Bhopal: The Muslim Education and Career Promotion Society, (MECAPS), on Tuesday felicitated the bright upcoming cricketer of the city Ajitesh Argal, a member of India’s Under-19 World Cup triumphant squad, who was Man of the Match in the summit clash when it pinned down South Africa to claim the title.
The MECAPS’ newly elected president Syed Munawwar Husain and secretary Sagheer Baidaar presented a memento and bouquets to Ajitesh to acknowledge his great achievement and for bringing laurels to the city and the state.

Munawwar Husain lauded the feat of Ajitesh and praised his coach Suresh Chenani, mother Ameeta and father Er. K. K. Argal for their support and endeavour to prepare him under their watchful eyes to climb to fame.
Sagheer Baidaar speaking on the occasion, while hailing Ajitesh’s achievement in India’s Under-19 World Cup triumph, hoped that he would further excel and don Team India colours in near future.
The other office-bearers and well-wishers of MECAPS amongst others who were present on the occasion included Prof. Hasan Masood, Dr. Iftekharuddin Khan, Syed Masood Ali, Er. Sohail Khan, Qazi Iqbal, Pervez Bari, Zafar Hasan (Dr. Khalid) and Sohail.
It may be recalled here that MECAPS in its annual function last month had the honour of felicitating Ajitesh Argal on his selection in Under-19 India World Cup squad. Since Ajitesh was away in India camp at Bangalore his parents represented their son in the annual function. ([email protected])
