Mumbai : Speciality media house CyberMedia India Ltd Thursday announced that it has acquired all assets of California based marketing communications company and publishing firm TDA Group Inc.
The company informed the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) that the move is in synchronisation with its strategic plan to expand the service base.
According to a statement issued by the company, the marketing agency TDA Group Inc. has a strong track record of over 20 years in providing services to assorted clientele in the IT industry. The services comprise market consulting, content development, web and graphic design to both print and online set-ups.
“It is a strategic move in growing our content based services business rapidly. TDA is an outstanding business with excellent clients and people. It fits very well with our domain expertise in technology, and expands the proven core competence of CyberMedia in content-related areas,” Pradeep Gupta, chairman, CyberMedia said.
In December 2007, the TDA Group had posted revenues exceeding $5 million. The new subsidiary, TDA Group, will utilise the skills and services of the existing staff, including the expertise of founders Bob Tabke and Debbie Dawson, the statement said.
Gupta said: “This is our second acquisition in the US in the last 16 months. Prior to this we had acquired Illinois-based Publication Services, Inc. in December 2006.”
