Bhopal : Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and former Rajya Sabha member Sambhajirao Angre died at his Gwalior residence Saturday morning.
Angre, a close aide and secretary of veteran BJP leader late Vijayraje Scindia, was earlier associated with the Jan Sangh.
Angre, 84, was brought to his Gwalior home two days ago from Delhi where he was undergoing treatment for a kidney ailment. He died due to renal failure.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the party’s Madhya Pradesh unit president Narendra Singh Tomar, organising secretary Makhan Singh were among those who condoled Angre’s death.
