Chopra, who shot 75 in the first round, struck two-under 68 in the second. The winner of this year’s Mercedes Benz Championships, Chopra, who started on the tenth, was well on his way to making the weekend rounds as he was four-under at his 17th hole, the eighth hole of the layout. But the double bogey saw him go to three-over 143 and he missed the cut by one.
