Indian Wells (California) : India’s Mahesh Bhupathi and Mark Knowles of Bahamas entered the men’s doubles quarterfinals of the Pacific Life Open here defeating Nikolay Davydenko of Russia and Nicholas Keifer of Germany.
Bhupathi and Knowles, seeded sixth, warded off Davydenko and Kiefer 6-3, 6-4 in the second round of the men’s Masters event Monday night.
They will next play the winners of the match between fourth seed Israeli pair of Jonathan Erlich and Andy Ram and Paul-Henri Mathieu of France and Radek Stepanek of the Czech Republic.
