Security plan devised on eve of Eid Milad, Pakistan Day

Islamabad : Police and other law enforcing agencies devised a fool proof security plan to avert any untoward incident and foil any attempt of suicide bombing during the ceremonies, to be held in connection with Eid Milad on 21 March and Pakistan Day on 23 March.

Keeping the apprehensions of the suicide bombing in view, surveillance cameras were installed at educational, monetary and other important government, non-government institutions, crowded markets and bus stops to keep an eye on suspicious person or vehicle.

According to the details, the police and other security officials have completed their arrangements ahead of Eid Milad and Pakistan Day.

Security has been beefed up at the venue of ceremonies and the routes of Milan processions.

On the special directives of the Punjab government, the security of every men and women through metal detector was described as compulsory before entering any ceremony or gathering.

The staffs of local police stations were ordered to check the security of various institutions and all the government institutions would perform their professional duties after keeping their doors locked.

The police of every police station were given power to take action against the head of any department on poor security arrangements.

Besides, the secret agencies have been directed to collect the particulars of Mosques and Imam Bargahs and submit them within twenty four hours.
