The Seattle-based fishing sank off Alaska’s Dutch Harbour early Sunday morning, prompting the crewmembers to abandon the ship, said coastguard official Eric Eggan.

The coastguard officials managed to rescue 43 crewmembers while four drowned and feared dead, said Eggan.

Investigation into the cause of the accident is underway, he said.
