Ranchi, March 24 (IANS) Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) chief Shibu Soren has asked Congress president Sonia Gandhi’s backing for Kishore Lal, his nominee in the Rajya Sabha elections.
In a letter to Gandhi Sunday evening, Soren has appealed to Gandhi to ensure that all United Progressive Alliance (UPA) partners voted for Kishore Lal.
The fight for two Rajya Sabha seats from Jharkhand has become interesting following the entry of two independent candidates in the fray.
