Agra : Three-year-old Vandana, who fell into a 50-foot deep bore well shaft in a village and was rescued by army soldiers late Wednesday night, is recovering well at a hospital here.
She has been admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) of SN Medical College in Agra.
Principal N.C. Prajapati said Vandana would be under observation for 48 hours during which all tests will be conducted.
Vandana accidentally fell into the bore well Tuesday evening in village Tehra in Saiyan block of Khairagarh tehsil on the Agra-Gwalior Road, some 28 km from Agra city.
A large number of people Thursday visited the hospital to wish her well
Agra’s District Magistrate Mukesh Meshram asked the chief development officer N. Ravi to conduct a thorough inquiry to identify the peoples who left the bore well shaft uncovered.
An FIR will be lodged on receipt of the inquiry report, the district authorities said.
