United Nations : The UN Human Rights Council extended for another three-years the terms of three international experts.
According to the release one studies the effects of the foreign debt and international financial duties on human rights. The other must watch for fundamental liberties and solidarity.
A team is drafting a statement on the rights of the peoples and private citizens to international solidarity.
The UN HRC also extended the term for the expert that monitors fulfillment of the Declaration on the Human Rights of peoples from national or ethnic, religious or linguistic minorities.
The Council also approved a resolution calling the states to meet their duties to respect human rights and basic liberties in fighting terrorism.
