Pakistani PM condemns suicide blast in tribal region

Islamabad : Pakistani Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gillani strongly condemned the suicide attack on Thursday morning in northwestern Khyber tribal agency, the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) said.

The government was committed to fighting terrorism in all its forms and manifestations and such incidents will not deter the government from its determination to fight this menace, Gillani said.

The official news agency said the suicide attack injured 15 people and some of them are at critical condition.

But the private Dawn TV channel reported two deaths and ten injuries in the suicide blast.

Reports say a suicide bomber blew himself up at Bara, main town of Khyber agency, on Thursday morning.
