Tel Aviv : US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice is to arrive in this city Saturday to meet with Israeli political leaders, prior to an announced visit by President George W. Bush.
According to official sources, Rice will have dinner in Jerusalem with Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, and travel to the West Bank Sunday to hold talks with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in the city of Ramallah.
Also on the list is a meeting with the main peace process negotiators: Israeli Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni, and former Palestinian Prime Minister Ahmed Qurei.
Meanwhile, Bush will visit the Middle East on May 13-18, to attend celebrations in occasion of the 60th anniversary of the creation of the Israeli State.
This fact marks the beginning of forced eviction and massive exodus of millions of people from their hometown, whose return is currently one of the decisive points in peace negotiations.
