Patan (Gujarat) : An 18-year-old girl from this Gujarat town has lodged a complaint with the police, accusing her father of repeatedly raping her over a period of time.
The girl complained her father Bhikhan Khan Jan Khan Baloch had been raping her ever since she returned to Patan, about 200 km from Ahmedabad, from her in-laws’ home after her divorce some three months back.
A case was registered Tuesday morning and the father would be arrestedf soon, the police said. She was taken to the Civil Hospital in Ahmedabad in the afternoon for medical examination.
The girl said her father had been sexually exploiting her even before she was married to a youth from Rajasthan some three years back, the police said.
Though the girl was happy in her marriage, Baloch, 40, brought pressure on her to divorce her husband and return to him, the police said.
The victim said Baloch began treating her as his wife and threatened her against informing anybody.
