Jakarta : Indonesia has extradited four Timor Leste rebels that allegedly participated in the attack on the President and head of government of that neighbor country.
Amidst strong security measures those people demanded by Timor Leste authorities were taken to the Airport at the eastern capital and sent to Dili on a charter flight, reported Antara news agency.
The authorities did not make any comment on the operation that follows the recent visit of Timor Leste Prime Minister Xanna Gusmao to this capital to sign several bilateral cooperation agreements.
The four people accused of participating in the February 11 attack on President Jose Ramos Horta and Gusmao himself will be sent to court in those nations, sources affirmed.
