Kuwaiti official says security academy students to help for order

Doha : Assistant Director-General of Saad Al-Abdullah Academy for Security Sciences of Kuwait said Wednesday that academy students and trainees will participate in the process of the May 17 elections with ensuring security and order at the ballot stations.

Brigadier Hameed Al-Samak told KUNA on sidelines of his participation in the eighth meeting for the general directors of the security training institutes in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries that the academy would play a major role in securing ballet boxes.

Students will be assigned at the five constituencies’ election headquarters.

He added a large number of academy students would be stationed at the elections headquarters for assisting the voters.

Al-Samak said the Doha meeting talks included the Kuwaiti initiative of establishing an “information bank in the field of security training.”
