Kuwait : Fourth constituency candidate, Abdullah Al-Mutotah, urged the motivation of young people and placing emphasis on this important segment of the society, whom he called the true wealth of the country.
Speaking at the opening of his campaign headquarters in Jahara city, themed “simple dreams in a complicated reality,” Al-Mutotah noted that there was a need for according more attention to the needs and issues of youth.
Motivating them and giving them the right background and education is the only means to guarantee a good future, he said.
He called on both the legislative and executive authorities to preserve the identity of the Kuwaiti society by passing laws that protected principles and values based on Islamic teachings.
He also called for protecting citizens from harsh living conditions that were caused by high prices and cost of living that exhausted the budgests of Kuwaiti families.
Al-Mutotah hoped that each Kuwaiti family would be granted a house within six years, especially as there was financial surplus brought about by the hike in oil prices.
He said that most Kuwaiti families preferred to educate their children in private schools despite efforts to upgrade curricula and educational in public schools.
Al-Mutotah also urged state bodies to improve heath services in Kuwaiti hospitals, noting that this could only be achieved if both authorities were sincere in their determination to bring about reform.
The fourth constituency groups 18 areas and has a total of 93,710 eligible voters of which 54,351 are women.
