Hanoi : Vietnam closed its first four-month period of the year with 530,000 new job positions, which added to those of 2007, amount to over a million and a half, according to the last balance of official statistics disclosed Wednesday in Hanoi.
Some 26,000 job positions, out of the number of the first four-month period of 2008, correspond to contracts abroad, which alleviated the pressure of the labor market due to current inflationary rise, Ministry of Planning and Investment reported.
This country is immersed in a wide program of qualification of the labor force and for the formation of human resources in technologies, areas that lack personnel able to respond to current national demand.
