All India Taleemi wa Milli Foundation to organize summer camp

New Delhi: All India Taleemi wa Milli Foundation is going to organize a three-day summer camp from 11th May at Madrasa Badrul Uloom, a well-known and years old religious institution of Phool Gachhi in Kishan Ganj (Bihar).

Several competitions among students will be held during the camp. Secretary of Kishan Ganj unit of the Foundation and convener of the camp Maulana Masood Akhtar Qasimi, while giving the information about the camp, said this grand competition program would be conducted in the leadership of their national and Milli leader Maulana Israrul Haq Qaimi All India Ta’leemi wa Milli Foundation works in the area of education, particularly among educationally backward Muslim masses in the states like Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal and Jharkhand. It has helped to establish hundreds of Maktabs (religious cum secular schools) in these states. The organization has given special attention to the girls education and has opened several residential institutions, Milli Girls School, for girls with a purpose to impart them with religious and contemporary education in Kishan Ganj, the district adjacent to Nepal border where literacy rate among Muslim women is less than one per cent.

The purpose of the camp, Maulana Qasimi told the reporter, was to motivate the students for further studies and develop competitive spirit in them. Students of Maktabs being run under auspices of The Foundation in Bihar, West Bengal, Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh will take part in this competition that will comprise Azan, Qir’at, Na’t and Islamic Quiz.
