Kolkata : Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) captain Sourav Ganguly visited Kalighat Kali temple Tuesday to pray for the victory of his team against Delhi Daredevils at the Eden Gardens here in their Indian Premier League (IPL) encounter.
Though Ganguly did not speak to the media on his way back from the temple, one of his friends told reporters: “The temple-visit is a personal belief and decision of Ganguly. If KKR wins Tuesday evening, then it will be easy for the team to make it to the Twenty20 semi-finals.
“On behalf of the entire team, he went to pray for their victory.”
