Beirut : Representatives from the majority and parliamentary opposition will travel to Qatar for talks to mitigate the Lebanese political crisis, which caused death of 82 and wounded 200 recently.
The delegations will travel to Doha, Qatari capital, to begin talking as the life of this Arab country is returning to normal.
Schools opened last Friday in Beirut.
According to Ad Diyar newspaper, the opposition delegation is made up of chief of parliamentary group from Hizbala (God’s Party) Mohamed Raad and ex minister of Hydroelectrical Resources Mohamed Enecih and deputy Husein Hajj Hassan.
The Qatar meeting is the result of mediation from an Arab League mission.
The two parts previously agreed to resume talks to form a national unity government and they have both adopted a six-point agreement by which they expect to solve the main problems of the crisis.
The talks will be also focused on establishment of an electoral law before the 2009 elections and approval of General Michel Suleiman, until now chief of the Armed forces, as presidential candidate.
