Chandigarh : The wife of a property dealer was found murdered here, and the police are looking for the domestic help who is absconding.
Anuradha, 33, wife of Baljinder Singh, was found with her throat slit at their Sector 38 home Saturday night. Her two children were found locked in another room.
The house had been ransacked. Police do not rule out robbery as the motive for the crime.
A police official said they were on the lookout for domestic help Nikku, who had been working with the couple for over five years. Baljinder Singh was partying at a discotheque when the incident occurred.
The guard of the locality told the police that he saw the servant leaving the premises after midnight with two other people on his motorcycle, which the Singh family had recently bought for him.
