Ahmedabad : Security was tightened in all four divisions of Western Railways – Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara and Bhavnagar – Friday following bomb threats, railway sources said.
Railway authorities in Delhi had received threats purportedly from militant group Jaish-e-Mohammad and alerted Western Railway headquarters, sources said.
Sniffer dog squads have been sent to Rajkot, Dwaraka and Veraval and the newly-built Somnath railway stations, and the security has been tightened in all stations of the four divisions.
