New Delhi : If there are fights over the TV remote at home, you can escape to the capital’s first sports bar to enjoy your favourite game.
Sports enthusiasts can now watch various games while they munch and keep their spirits high.
Ankush Bhatia, the business head of the new hangout, told IANS: “We have this concept in Mumbai as well and it is a hit there. And here also we expect a similar or greater response.”
He said there are plans to launch about 500 such outlets across the country within five years.
The All Sports Bar, located at Connaught Place, is equipped with 22 huge plasma screens, with an in-stadia feel to give spectators a better view.
Besides watching live matches, visitors can also try playing foosball, pool and a game of darts at the bar.
Singer, model and actor Sudhanshu Pandey was present at the launch of the bar with his friends, actor Rohit Roy and director Sanjay Gupta.
“I have been to their outlet in Mumbai and it’s really nice. This one is good too and since I love sports, it’s great to be here,” Sudhanshu told IANS.
Indian Cricket League (ICL) players Madan Lal, Chetan Sharma and Atul Wassan were also seen at the bar.
