Port of Spain : West Indies captain Chris Gayle and pace bowler Jerome Taylor, who sat out the first Test against Australia because of injury, have been included in the 14-man squad for the second Test in Antigua beginning Friday.
Gayle had been sidelined with a groin injury he picked up during the one-dayer against Sri Lanka April 15 while Taylor was out with a lower back injury.
West Indies coach John Dyson said he was confident that both Taylor and Gayle would be fit to start at the Sir Vivian Richards Cricket Ground Friday.
Spinner Amit Jaggernauth, who made his debut at the Sabina Park Test, along with Barbadian all-rounder Ryan Hinds were left out of the squad
Jamaican batsman Xavier Marshall, who was included in the first Test as cover for Gayle, keeps his place in the squad.
West Indies lost the first Test by 95 runs.
