Lucknow : The Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU) Wednesday declared results of its State Entrance Examination (SEE) for admissions to nearly 150 technical and engineering institutes across the state.
Over 250,000 students appeared in the SEE for about 66,362 seats in various engineering and technology courses like B.Tech, MBA, MCA and others, the varsity officials said here.
UPTU registrar U.S. Tomer told reporters, “The maximum students appeared for B.Tech examinations. About 172,000 students took the B.Tech exams.”
He added that the cut-off percentage for the most sought after engineering courses has been fixed at 30. Last year, the cut-off percentage for this course was 25.
A student from Saharanpur district, Vishvendra Kumar, topped the SEE securing 88.44 percent marks.
